What is Regenerative Agriculture, and how do we use it?

  • Regenerative Agriculture focuses on restoring the health of ecosystems and improving biodiversity, particularly the soil.

  • Soil does not get disturbed and stays covered by as many plants and roots (diversity), so it is protected from the elements (heavy frost & sun), which also in turn helps the soil to retain water.

  • It needs to be a diverse ecosystem to encourage pollination, wildlife and more

  • We use our livestock to help put nitrogen and carbon (nutrients) back into the soil, they also aerate and distribute the organic matter with their hooves.

  • We DO NOT use chemicals or pesticides.
